My fishing buddy is in puppy heaven

To all who knew my buddy, Sierra. He died on the 24th of October following surgery to remove a large tumor and his spleen. He did not do well after the surgery and did not show signs of improvement. He had cancer growth spots on his liver. The doc at the Diamond Animal Hospital said he may have 2-6 months after surgery. I had to make the hardest decision of my life. The decision to let my boy go. He was 14 years old and had a good life with me, Linda and his brother Duke. I still can't believe he is gone, such a large hole in my heart. I had him since he was a pup and took him everywhere i could with me and us as a family. My wife and I give our sincerest thanks to the docs, techs and staff of the Diamond Hospital. Their true compassion and caring for us and my boy were beyond words. "Thank you all". Sierra will live on in our hearts and over my heart. I had him tattooed while we were in Japan. We love you buddy, go chase bunnies and play in the snow.
